I just returned from presenting my work at the EPSC–DPS joint meeting in Helsinki, Finland! It was great to catch up with friends and colleagues from other institutions worldwide, and learn about the cutting edge science taking place in the field!
🚨 30/06/25 New publication! 🚨
The first paper from my PhD just got published online in the Planetary Science Journal! Titled “Atmospheric loss during giant impacts: mechanisms and scaling of near- and far-field loss”, we used 3D smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations to determine the mechanisms by which a planet’s atmosphere can be removed during planet–planet collisions know as giant impacts.
